So much has changed Since March!

Where Do I start...I have started a photography business with the help of ITS (the boys Karate School). They offered for me to take their pictures for advertising and stuff for barter and they would put my name on all photos and advertise in their studio for me. So I have a lot going on there. I have projects coming out my ears at the moment. I will be shooting their School Portraits the first week in August So I am flipping out about the quality and stuff.

This venture though is going to kill us financially if I don't start to make some money ( I will be getting paid for the portraits). We had to get a new tower for our PC cuz the laptop was not even trying to run my Software. It is all good now though. All I need to get by August 4th is a flash, a green screen, some lights, a new battery, maybe the grip, a new flash card and that should be it for now. LOL I am laughing but totally serious. Please check out my website.. kineticskyphotography.bravehost.com

So as for the rest of my life. This kids are out of school for the summer. Need I say more. No really I can't wait for them to get back to school so I can get some work done.

Ava has reached terrible 3s... She is defiant, crabby and sneaky. She also has Daddy and the boys wrapped around her tiny finger. Which leaves me to be the mean one and not put up w/ the bull. On the flip side though she is at a fun innocent age where she can say everything but not understand everything she says and I don't want her to get older. She has a great vocabulary too that includes but is not limited to weeinor, who-ha, Singing the big butts song by Sr. Mix a lot.. yeah I am proud *rolling eyes* thanks Boys!! She will belt out that song at the most inappropriate times too like when we are at ITS or the quiet doctors office and is so proud of her self while the boys are a giggling their asses off and I am trying to shhhh her though the whole thing. FUN TIMES

Keegan is my 8 year old going on 13. He woke up w/ an attitude this morning and is not talking to anyone unless it is w/ a you are all the stupidest people on the planet tone. This tone will soon get him put back to bed or made to do chores.. which I have little time to do So I think I will make him do some things I need to get done. On the other hand he is very helpful and sweet when he wants to be and OH So smart. He is so different because what most kids want to do when they grow up is not anything like what he wants to so. He said he wants to be a scary mask maker or After we got done watching National Treasure, you would have thought he would want to go on a Treasure Hunt but instead he said he would want to build booby traps.. What kind of kid says that.. He has a very artistic mind and I really hope he utilizes it instead of sitting in a cubical. I want him to be happy and I don't think office work will make him happy.

He was Diagnosed back in April w/ JRA ( Juvenal rheumatoid arthritis). Only in his knees so far. He is on Medication and seems fine w/ it, well this is the second medication he has been on. The first gave him an allergic reaction. Other than that he is fine. Keegan is up for his purple belt too.

The boys are in Matt rats (which is a mini MMA class) they are basically teaching my boys to tacitly fight. They are also in x-treme team which is doing really cool kicks and flipps. Both boys excel in both classes. they are both strong and quick and very focused!! The best part is the whole thing teaches them a lot of responsibility for themselves and respect for others.

Shane is a remarkable kid too. ANYTHING he puts his mind to do he WILL accomplish. He wants to play a certain song on the piano he will sit there and figure it out until he knows it. He has learned, since school has been out, how to flip onto a skateboard, this zoingo boingo thing (I'll post pictures of that), how to ride his bike no handed, and how to Zoingo boingo onto the trampoline and off again. Not to mention all the video games he has mastered including expert on Guitar Hero. Oh and then there is the guitar.. he is slowly learning to play that too. Hehe It is SO much fun to watch this kid. He is so loving, well to me anyway. He is also having listening problems which has more to do w/ my lack of consistency lately and not following though. But I recently instilled a routine that has helped us all. the house is cleaner and the kids are behaving a lot better now that they know what is expected of them.

Then there is My wonderful husband. he is very high Cholesterol So we are going though a whole life style change to make sure he dose not suffer the same fate as both his parents. I want to grow old w/ him and I am going to do everything in my power to make sure that happens. But unfortunately it is in his hands for the most since I on see his about 4 hours a day at the most.

I know there is lots more going on w/ us. Like my mom is now completely in her new place and settled. Mike is retired. Jason got his own apartment in Ann Arbor. we are help him move this weekend. Stephen and Little Mike both got calls for GM. So my whole family is in a huge change right now but it is all for the better and well deserved!!! We spent the 4th up at their house and it was like a cottage vacation. Very surreal.

This is old and saved as a draft..but I am going to post it anyhow..unfinished...

Happy Easter and More

Yesterday was the last Holiday or family get together at my moms old house (the last house I loved in w/ her and my brother). But while I was there I noticed why she was moving. Keegan's obsession this week is skate boarding (Santa got him one for Christmas). Bryan took him up to K-mart after we got to my moms and got him a helmet and took him to the skate park. He was going down ramps and all, so when they got home he begged to show off in front of grandmas. I took him out side and I watched him for about 15 min and in that time was all I need to see why she hates it there. First it was 2 cars full of Teenagers Blaring their radio and speeding down the road toward Keegan and I as soon as they saw us pick up the board to get out of the road they sped up.. I was so ticked. I like loud music myself but apparently I am getting old and there is a time and place for it not down a residential street during Easter. Trying to scare my kid or me by speeding up just made me want to scream at them. So back in the road we go for Keegan to show off more of his moves and down the road come a whole bunch of kids around Keegan and Shane's age. Well maybe this was all me but I still feel as though that is my home and that is the street I lived on... I was the kids of the neighborhood, So this all could have been my own insecurities but as the kids got closer they were starring at us. I thought at first they might ask Keegan to play (then what was I gonna do let him or not) but then they just had this disgusted look on their faces and eyeballing ME.. I am a freaking adult.. children should not Look at adults in that tone.. they looked as if they wanted to know who the heck we were and that they owned the street or something. OMG. I have heard my mom say thing about how rude and noisy her corner (she lives on a corner lot) is but I never experienced it for myself. So I am very happy she is getting away from Richmond.. I don't think I will miss it at all.

Sunday I am teaching Sunday School on my own, Pam and Stephanie are going to be away on Vacation and figured I would be fine OMG.. NO... if all of them show up there are 25 kids there.. I am not a teacher and they are kindergartners. I know they smell fear! So it is a week away and I am so nervous.

Shane has a new talent since I have last bragged about my kids. We have a keyboard that plays various songs including Beethoven and Mozart stuff. Well Shane plays w/ the keyboard all the time. Well one day two weeks ago he was playing Fur Elise... I was washing dishes So I was not paying much attention other than I knew that was the song he was listening to and I enjoys hearing that song so I was tuned in. The very beginning was playing then a wrong note hit and repeated at that point I knew Shane was playing it .. I ran back there to see it for my own eyes and yeah he had figured it out, by himself, the beginning of Fur Elise! He was listening to the song.. turning it to piano play and then figuring it out... By the end of the day he had figured out a few rock songs he hears on Guitar Hero.. sweet child of mine and one by Metallica. I am stunned at his music abilities and so proud!!! More importantly he is of himself and I love seeing that.

That is about it here for this week.. Shane has a hearing test today and I have lots of cleaning to do.

Things are a changin

OH there is so much going on right now. Richmond is pretty much done for me now.. My mom Sold her house and her and Mike bought a new one an hour away. I am truly happy for them.. just sad that her new house will not involve Jason and I. He is moving out into his own place. I am happy for him too... Really non of this has to do w/ me other than I'll help them move and stuff. My mom is flustered cuz it all happened so quickly, the selling of the house and her buying a new one. She also changed Jobs and is now working nights for a while.. Still GM but different plant. When all is said and done she will be very happy and everything happens for a reason.

Keegans Dad told me today that he is finally getting Married this summer..YAY! I am so happy for them. Speaking of Keegan I finally talked to Keegans Teacher today about their lack of testing for reading. He has been showing a late third grade reading level since the middle of First grade and I know he has gone up so I was wondering if they were going to test him this marking period.. Evidently the way the tests are set up there are 2 different tests for reading one is k-2 and the other is 3-5.. and they don't normally test more than a grade ahead especially when they have to switch tests.. But His teacher wants it done for him as well as me So we can get a good idea of where he is So at least I at home can Keep him going. I don't want him to idol for too long. She told me though that is is reading Chapter books for his reading group and that she tries to give him work that is at his level or what she guess his level is. So that is good to know. She also said that he is to the point that he can read Anything put in front of him now. He just wont always understand what he reads if it is beyond his maturity level. She gave me a few suggestions for book for him that will quench his thirst for scary books and still keep him at his maturity level. She Taught 5th grade last year which I think has helped him and her w/ him being advanced. We also talked about their reading log.. I was disappointed that they were not going to do this anymore. Apparently only 5 kids were handing them in every week.. mine included... and she was fighting w/ parents over it...WHAT!!! Parents actually said things like it was not important and it was stupid. No one was making their kids do this. That makes me SO sad. What is wrong w/ these parents. I am busy too but I will have him read while I am doing dishes or whatever.. I also enjoying reading these stories w/ them. I guess she has been having problems w/ parent participation all year. I feel really bad for them kids.. really I do. But I told her that he is going to continue to read every night and I can't worry about other kids and that Keegan was my concern here. She is a good teacher and I think Keegan is benefiting from having her there for him.

Ava was signed up for preschool on Tuesday. I am so sad.. she is my baby and I have no more after her. I like this preschool but it is really strict about volunteering. I am afraid to get sick.. fortunately it will only be once a month. Other than that I love the sound of all they did there. They even Pray before snack!!! They will be taking lots of Field trips too.

Shane and Keegans Karate place is Moving.. out of town :( I could walk there in the summer before but now I am going to have a hard time getting there.. this sux big time. They need the room though so it is not that bad for them and I am happy for them. They owners are wonderful people .. I just hope it does not loose the family feel as they get bigger.

What else? Shane is at a Level E in reading! that is exciting and Awesome. He also is a whizz and Math. I am so Proud of him. I feel bad that he does not stand out to everyone like keegan Does.. but that is just him he has never needed to be the center of attention like Keegan does. He is So cool and his attitude is great and I wish I was more like him. He never begs for kids to play w/ him if they come to him fine but other wise he is perfectly fine being on his own. But he plays great w/ other kids and they all seem to genuinely like him. I love that about him. He is such a goofball too.

I guess that is it... I am doing the school store tomorrow and have Nichole's Baby shower on Sunday.
Have a great Weekend!

Pictures and updates!

I have not really done anything here but start this but I want to Start having an up to date journal from now on. Life, it seems, to pass me too quickly and at least I will ahve some written memory somewhere out is siberworld for my kids to look back on.

So what is going on w/ us right now?.. It is snowing like mad outside and there is a blizzard warning going on. The funny thing is my boys decided to go sledding... If not for the wind they may have made it an hour. LOL. I made sure the house was spotless today before Bryan got home so I could take some time to do this...I never get time to be online for any length of time.. anyone w/ kids knows why. My plan worked and Bryan is happily down Stairs w/ the kids and I am alone... Yay me!

I am trying to get 3 more pages to this... I am not even sure if I can. I'd like to have one for each of the kids but I think i am just going to have to blog them separately or something. This site is new to me. I have a Geo cities one but I have not worked w/ that one much either. Whatever I don't know. I just want something somewhat organized and I have not found anything to fit my scattered brain. We will see how this goes.

As I sit here to type this my phone is ringing off the hook.. I think it is for Keegan because his girl friend Jasmine has called close to 20 times today *rolling eyes*.. He's 8.. this really should not be happening yet! He is a bit annoyed w/ her but he wont tell her that. I caught him earlier saying to her "no my mom is here" So when They hung up I asked if she wanted him to Say I love you to her.. He laughed and Yeah! He seems to only to be going out w/ her because she is pestering him to and does not want the argument.. LOL he also has figured out that once he becomes a girls BF they turn mean and Bossy so he wont go out w/ anyone he really likes for fear of them becoming bossy. I am glad he learned this early he he. All is good w/ him is school as usual. I am a bit annoyed at the fact that he is idling to wait for the other to catch up but he is not slipping in any area by boredom yet and we are still working w/ him at home. He has to read every night.. right now he is very into ghost and scary stories so I bought him to ghost story books at the book fair on Thursday night. He also is learning the Guitar w/ Bryan's help and is writing stories. He was doing basket ball from Dec-Feb and Did well there too. He had lots of fun. He also figured out how to make an animation on the computer or gif image. I will try to put that up here cuz it is so COOL.

Shane is my Guitar Hero extraordinaire.. He is the best in the house as he would say. But I took it away for the weekend because that is all he thinks about. I also bought him a few books from he book fair and this is how different my children.. he got Captain Underpants LOL. I can't wait to read it to him. We have so many books going on though at a time. We are reading spiderwick, Keegans new book (which he had to stop another one he was reading to start his new one) and the books he brings home from school. He is doing well in school and reading well now. He is also learning the guitar w/ Keegan and Dad. He is a bit better than Keegan.. but shhh I did not say that. He is such a gadget geek and love to play on webkins and look at guitar hero videos on you tube. He is a really cool kid.

So now we have come to Ava Aka Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. She is always in her Dorothy dress... This is the equivalent of the spiderman costume. She wears it from sun up to sun down if I would let her. She loves to watch movies like Labyrinth, Never Ending Story, Alvin and the chipmunks and Bambie is the new one of the week. She is a great kid too. She is fully potty trained and has been waking up dry though the night do pull ups are almost done.

So yeah I have no more babies. I am going to be enrolling Ava in preschool for the fall on Tuesday and though I am a bit sad about it all, I am really OK w/ it. I am pretty excited about it actually. I get me time. I get to figure out who I am again. I can't wait. Do you know how hard it was to write something about myself? I am interested in lots of things but I have not been able to devote time to anything but this kids in 8 years.. So I am really ready for this next chapter in my life. I can't wait to be able to practice yoga at home and really get into it more than the once a week class I have been taking. I want to start sewing and selling my Yoga bags too but Right now I have no time to start that up. I have a lot to look forward to and be excited about. I have a great life and family...I am truly blessed :O)
